Abstract:
Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)has become one of the most serious diseases causing death and disability globally, with ischemic stroke caused by large vessel occlusion having higher rates of death and disability and causing a heavy financial burden on the patient's family.Early endovascular treatment to open the occluded vessel is essential to save ischaemic brain injury.Endovascular treatment can provide significant clinical benefit to patients.Aspiration thrombectomies(ADAPT)and stent retrievers are used as common modalities for endovascular treatment, but there are no conclusive findings regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the two main treatment modalities. This article comprehensively analyzes the current research results and compares the efficacy and safety of aspiration thrombectomy and stent thrombectomy in order to provide a scientific basis for clinical decision-making.
