Abstract:
Atherosclerosis(AS)is a chronic and progressive inflammatory vascular disease, characterized by a complex regulatory network immune cells.Noncoding RNAs(ncRNAs),a category of RNA molecules without protein-coding capacity, are implicated in the regulation of immune cells, including macrophages and T cells in AS,thereby modu-lating the progression of the disease. However, the mechanisms through which ncRNAs affect immune cells in AS remain inadequately explored.Consequently, this article aims to delineate the mechanisms by which ncRNAs influence immune cells, their roles in AS,and their potential as diagnostic markers. The goal is to highlight the current understanding of ncRNA involvement in the regulation of immune cells, offering theoretical support for the continued investigation of thera-peutic targets and diagnostic markers for AS.
