Abstract:
Objective To study the prevalence of hypertension in flying personnel, and'o identify the main influencing factors related to hypertension. Methods Review was conducted on physical check-up data in 1 070 flying personnel, and a questionnaire survey was answered by flying personnel. The interclass data were processcd by chi square test, and the risk factors related to hypertension were analyzed with Logistic regression by SPSS 13.0 software. Results In 1 070 flying personnel, there were 76 persons belong to hypertension group and took 7.10%.There were 401 persons (37.48%) in normal group. There were 593 persons (55.42%) in normal but on high side. There was no statistical significance of the incidence of hypertension among different flying duties and type of aircrafts (P>0.05).The predictive factors of hypertension included age (OR=1.415,95% CI:1.069~1.874,P<0.05),BMI (OR=2.501,95%CI:1.915~3.266,P<0.01),waist circumference (OR=2.235,95%CI:1.723~2.897,P<0.01) and hypercholesterolemia (OR=1.372,95%CI:1.043~ 1.804,P<0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of hypertension in 1 070 flying personnel is lower than that in common people.Age,overweight or obesity, hypercholesterolemia would be the significant risk factors for hypertension. It is no statistical significance of the incidence of hypertension among different flying duties and type of aircrafts.
