Abstract:
Objective To address issues in standardized residency training in specialty hospitals, such as insufficient specialty coverage, significant disparity in teaching resources, and overall weaker quality of trainees,a multi-level training system was constructed to enhance the overall quality of standardized residency training. Methods The resource gaps were addressed and process management was improved by deepening the hierarchical management system, establishing a liaison system, and strengthening recruitment and joint training models.Teaching competitiveness, exchange, and characteristic curriculum develop-ment were enhanced to promote the in-depth implementation of a whole-process mentorship system and innovate teaching modes.A"trinity"incentive mechanism for faculty and a whole-process incentive system for residents were refined. Results Overall training satisfaction significantly increased:satisfaction with the training base(hospital)and specialty base rose by 7.0%and 6.1%,respectively;satisfaction with teaching enthusiasm and professional level of faculty increased by 8.3%and 5.5%,re-spectively;the proportion of residents mastering the content and standards of the medical licensing examination and aiming to pass it in one attempt increased by 10%and 5.2%,respectively;and the first-attempt pass rate for the medical licensing examination post-training increased by 22.2%.Conclusion Specialty hospitals can effectively improve the quality of standardized residency training by enhancing process management, innovating teaching models, and establishing sound incentive mechanisms.
