Abstract:
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is characterized by intestinal immune dysregulation, and the mechanisms underlying the cellular and molecular dynamics in the intestinal microenvironment remain unelucidated. The collaborative function of gastrointestinal epithelial, stromal and immune cells and the interaction between cells and intestinal microbiota play important roles in maintaining intestinal immune homeostasis. Currently, single-cell sequencing technology is developing rapidly, and its application in IBD continues to deepen. This article reviews single-cell analysis studies of IBD in recent years, with the aim of providing a basis for understanding the pathogenesis of IBD and promoting precision medicine.
