Abstract:
Objective To find out research contents and related hot spots concerning motion sickness . Methods In the study, Web of Science(WOS) was used as the core data, and the time span of literature retrieval was from its inception to September 30 th, 2017.Research orientation, origins and categories of source data, distribution, rate of citation and types of international cooperation were analyzed by statistical method . Results From the data retrieved from WOS, it could be seen that active research on motion sickness started as early as 1988, and 52 papers were retrieved in 2010 alone, despite that there was some flotation between the years.Research on internal medicine of motion sickness was the most popular , with the amount of retrieved papers being as many as 548 papers.Research on public health, environmental and professional medicine was the research field second only to internal medicine , with the amount of retrieved papers being as many as 323 papers.In the exercise science, motion sickness research was also a hot spot and new research orientation , with the amount of retrieved papers surpassing 300 papers.The journal having the highest amount of published papers concerning motion sickness was "Aviation Space and Environmental Medicine ", with a total amount of published papers being as many as 287 papers.Conclusions Now, the research on motion sickness has become quite mature, and the hot research spot is in internal medicine .
