Abstract:
Objective:To construct a job competency evaluation index system for clinical nursing teachers, and to provide a basis for selecting and training excellent clinical nursing teachers.Methods:The first draft of the indicators was developed through literature analysis and semi-structured interviews. Convenience sampling was used to select 16 experts for Delphi expert consultation from October to November 2024. The weights of the indicators were determined using the precedence chart method.Results:In the two rounds of consultation, the positive coefficient of the experts was 100.00% (16/16) and the authority coefficient was 0.832. The total Kendall's harmony coefficient for the indicators after the second round of consultation was 0.226 ( P<0.01). The final constructed job competency evaluation index system for clinical nursing teachers included 5 first-level indicators (professionalism, professional knowledge and skills, teaching ability, research and innovation ability, and nursing informatization ability), 15 second-level indicators, and 40 third indicators. Conclusions:The construction of the job competency evaluation index system for clinical nursing teachers is scientific and credible, which provides a basis for selecting and training excellent clinical nursing teachers.
