Abstract:
Objective:To describe the research hotspots and development trends of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of critical care nursing, providing evidence for nursing staff to apply intelligent technology to assist nursing work.Methods:The Web of Science Core Collection database was used as the data source, with a search period from the inception of the database to March 2024. The CiteSpace 6.3.R1 software was used to analyze the included articles.Results:A total of 210 articles were included. The country with the highest number of publications was the United States (86 articles) , and the institution with the most publications was Harvard Medical School (8 articles) . The journal most frequently cited was the Journal of the American Medical Association. The most frequently mentioned keyword was machine learning. The research hotspots included disease risk prediction, clinical nursing decision support, application effect evaluation, and exploration of intelligent technology. The research frontier was focused on outcomes, healthcare, implementation, and nursing education. Conclusions:The research on AI in critical care nursing is receiving increasing attention. Future researcher can continue to explore the impact of AI on clinical outcomes for patients and improve nurses' understanding of AI knowledge. This will provide reference for better application of intelligent technology to assist nursing work.
