Abstract:
During the perimenopausal period, most women experience menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood changes, cognitive decline, and sleep disorders, which increase the risk of developing age-related diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and Alzheimer's disease in the future. The perimenopausal period represents a crucial window of opportunity for women to optimize their health. Appropriate menopause management can alleviate physical symptoms, improve quality of life, and help women maintain good physical condition. This review summarizes the concept of perimenopause, potential health risks, menopause management behaviors of perimenopausal women, and influencing factors, aiming to raise awareness of perimenopausal women of menopause management and provide a reference for strengthening clinical menopause management planning.
