Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the application effect of attributional psychological adjustment combined with WeChat platform nursing on elderly patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement surgery.Methods:A total of 87 elderly patients who underwent cardiac valve replacement surgery at Yixing People's Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected using convenience sampling. The patients were divided into a control group ( n=43) and an intervention group ( n=44). The control group received routine nursing care, while the intervention group received attributional psychological adjustment combined with WeChat platform nursing on top of routine care. The Attribution Style Questionnaire (ASQ), Profile of Mood States (POMS), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) scores were compared before and after the intervention in both groups. Results:After the intervention, the intervention group had significantly higher ASQ positive events and POMS positive mood scores than the control group ( P<0.05). The intervention group had significantly lower ASQ negative events, POMS negative mood, HAMA, and HAMD scores than the control group ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Attributional psychological adjustment combined with WeChat platform nursing can improve the attribution style, alleviate mood status, and reduce negative emotions in elderly patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement surgery.
