Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the effect of extension nursing based on online interactive platforms in patients with ischemic stroke through a Meta-analysis.Methods:Randomized controlled trials on extension nursing for ischemic stroke patients through online interactive platforms were searched in databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, VIP, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, PubMed, CINAHL, and Embase, with a search deadline of January 31, 2024. Two researchers independently screened the literature and extracted data according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the quality of the studies was assessed using the Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0. Meta-analysis was performed using R 4.3.3 software. Results:A total of 13 studies were included, involving 1 899 patients. The Meta-analysis revealed that extension nursing based on online interactive platforms significantly improved Activities of Daily Living ( MD=9.14, 95% CI: 7.05-11.23, P<0.01), Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale scores ( MD=15.16, 95% CI: 8.93-21.40, P<0.01), and Stroke-Specific Quality of Life scores ( MD=15.77, 95% CI: 13.28-18.26, P<0.01) . Conclusions:Extension nursing based on online platforms effectively improves self-care abilities, motor function, and quality of life in patients with ischemic stroke.
