Abstract:
Tic disorders are common neurodevelopmental disorders in children, characterized by repetitive movements and/or vocal tics.In recent years, the incidence of tic disorders has been increasing, whose mechanism may be partially related to neurogenetic, neurobiochemical, neuroimmune, social and environmental factors. At present, studies have shown a possible association between vitamin D and tic disorders and that vitamin D supplementation may be used as an auxiliary therapy. In this article, the correlation between vitamin D and tic disorders is reviewed. The results provide new ideas for the treatment of tic disorders.
