Abstract:
Objective:In this study,bibliometric methods were used to analyze the research hotspots and future de-velopment trends of mesenchymal stem cells in peripheral nerve injury and regeneration.Method:Data on relevant arti-cles published between 2013.01.01 and 2024.06.01 were collected by filtering using keywords in the Web of Science database.These articles were analyzed by utilizing VOS viewer,and Cite Space bibliometric software.Results:In this study,we searched the Web of Science database extensively and retrieved a total of 386 relevant articles.We analysed the annual number of publications,country distribution,top 10 authors,top 10 most cited articles,and top 10 pub-lished institutions to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current status and trends of peripheral nerve injury treatment and regeneration research in the last decade.Conclusion:The mesenchymal stem cell therapy for peripheral nerve injury provides new possibilities for the treatment of peripheral nerve injury,and has become an innovation in the treatment method,which is helpful to provide data and theoretical support for the field of peripheral nerve regeneration therapy,promote the development of related research,promote the development of mesenchymal stem cell therapy in clinical application,and is expected to provide patients with more effective treatment options,thereby improving their quality of life and rehabilitation process.
