Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the imaging characteristics of ovarian mucinous cystadenoma using multislice spiral CT and evaluate its diagnostic value. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 60 patients with ovarian space-occupying lesions who were admitted to Zhejiang Rongjun Hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 and diagnosed through postoperative pathology. All patients underwent multislice spiral CT examinations, and the results of the pathological examinations were used as the gold standard to analyze the diagnostic results and efficacy of multislice spiral CT examinations for mucinous cystadenoma. Results:In the clinical data of 60 patients with ovarian space-occupying lesions, pathological examination results revealed that 40 patients were diagnosed with mucinous cystadenoma, while 20 were diagnosed with borderline mucinous cystadenoma, resulting in a detection rate of 100.00%. The multislice spiral CT examinations identified 38 cases of mucinous cystadenoma and 18 cases of borderline mucinous cystadenoma, leading to a total of 56 cases detected and a detection rate of 93.33%. The Kappa value of 0.868 indicates strong consistency with the pathological examination. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of the multislice spiral CT examinations were found to be 95.00%, 90.00%, 93.33%, 95.00%, and 90.00%, respectively. These results demonstrate high agreement with the pathological findings and indicate significant diagnostic efficacy ( χ2 = 0.51, 0.53, 2.33, 0.51, 0.53, all P > 0.05). Conclusions:The accuracy of multislice spiral CT in diagnosing ovarian mucinous cystadenoma is high, making it a valuable method for clinicians to enhance the diagnosis rate of patients and improve their prognosis.
