Abstract:
Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a highly heterogeneous disease with varying pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, risk factors, complications, and prognosis. Recently, related studies have leveraged this heterogeneity to identify patient phenotypes with distinct characteristics of OSAHS, enabling the possibility of individualized treatment. This review summarizes the recent progress in cluster analysis of OSAHS and describes the potential role of phenotypic studies in the individualized treatment of OSAHS.
