Abstract:
With the vigorous development of the nuclear power industry and the increasing regional conflicts, the demand for nuclear emergency drugs is very urgent.Radionuclides enter the body via oral ingestion, lung inhalation, skin infiltration, and others, and deposit in tissues, exhibiting strong chemical toxicity and long-term radioactivity.Chelation therapy is currently the most effective method for treating internal contamination of radioactive isotopes.By introducing excretory agents into the body through oral and injection methods, stable complexes are formed between excretory agents and radioactive isotopes, which are then excreted into the body through the metabolic system. At present, research on decorporation agents mainly focuses on the effect on promoting the excretion of nuclides. However,a successful drug still needs to clarify the dynamic changes in drug disposal by the body, that is,pharmacokinetics. In the process of innovative drug development, pharmacokinetics research is equally important as pharmacodynamics research and toxicology research, and has become an important component of preclinical and clinical drug research. We will review the pharmacokinetic research progress of the above-mentioned decorporation agents in this article,in order to provide new ideas for optimizing the structure of decorporation agents for drug properties and developing new types of decorporation agents.
