Abstract:
Neuroblastoma(NB)is the most common malignant solid tumors in children that originates,from neural crest cells,with a high degree of heterogeneity and significant differences in survival rates.NB is caused by failure of cell differentiation during development of the nervous system.Studies have shown that patients with poorly differentiated NB have a lower overall survival rate than those with well differentiated NB.Traditional chemoradiotherapy,in children,often causes short-term or long-term side effects;therefore,it is very impor-tant to identify new therapeutic regimens to improve the curative rate and quality of life of patients with NB.In this review,the molecular mechanisms regulating NB cell differentiation and the drugs that can be used to induce NB cell differentiation are reviewed.
