Abstract: In recent years,the autologous platelet concentrates have increasingly been used in the field of periodontal tissue regenera-tion.To furnish insights that may aid in their clinical application,this article offers a comprehensive review of the evolution of autolo-gous platelet concentrates,encompassing their properties,mechanisms,and utilization in the periodontal regeneration of both soft and hard tissues.
