Abstract:
Physiology-guided precision treatment of coronary artery disease has been recommended by both international and national guidelines and expert consensus.Traditional wire-based physiological techniques are supported by robust evidence;however,their widespread clinical adoption remains constrained by procedural complexity,additional devices/agents and extended procedure time.Alternatively,imaging-based computational physiological assessment provides another assessment option that significantly simplifies the workflow without the need of wires or hyperemia agents,with improved efficiency,ease of use,and favorable cost-effectiveness.These advantages have made them research hot points with promising prospective guiding the precision treatment of coronary artery disease now and in the future.Notably,the rapid growth of original clinical research in China in this field is contributing greatly for the"Healthy China"initiative.
