Abstract:
Subtotal colectomy is a complex and difficult surgical method in colorectal surgery. There are currently open surgery, conventional laparoscopic surgery and single-port laparoscopic surgery, but these surgical methods have certain operational difficulties and disadvantages. With the continuous advancement of minimally invasive platforms and surgical techniques, robotic surgical systems are becoming more and more widely used in colorectal surgery. Robotic single-incision sub-total colectomy combines the characteristics of laparoscopic and single-port surgical operations, such as significantly reducing abdominal trauma, reducing postoperative pain, and speeding up recovery time, it also makes full use of the unique advantages of the robotic surgical system, such as a clearer three-dimensional field of view and more flexible and stable instrument operation, and has a good clinical application prospect. Based on domestic and foreign research, the authors summarize the key points of robotic single-incision subtotal colectomy combined with their own experience, expound its advantages and disadvantages, aiming to provide reference for promotion and popularization of standardization of this technique.
