Abstract:
Acute necrotic encephalopathy（ANE）is commonly associated with central nervous system disorders following viral infection.The cytokine storm caused by the abnormal systemic immune response of the host after infection may be an important pathogenesis of ANE.There is still a lack of consensus on standardized treatment options.The main therapeutic methods include immunotherapy，anti-cytokine therapy and symptomatic supportive therapy.Plasma exchange is one of the commonly used immunotherapy methods.At present，there is a lack of high evidence-based medical study evidence to confirm the effectiveness，but it is still a promising treatment and needs further exploration.
