Abstract:
Artificial intelligence(AI)technology is profoundly reshaping the clinical medical engineering system and driving the transformation of diagnosis and treatment models towards precision, efficiency, and intelligence.Drawing on latest global advances in AI within the clinical medical engineering field and China's practical explorations, this paper systematically analyzes the current AI applications across core domains—image-based diagnostic assistance, disease prediction and prevention, clinical decision support, and primary healthcare empowerment.Despite notable progress, key challenges persist:data standards and algorithm generalization, patient privacy vulnerability and regulatory framework gaps, professional expertise and collaborative mechanisms, and ambiguities in decision-making processes and accountability.Addressing these challenges requires optimizing algorithm design and model architecture, strengthening data management and privacy protection, fostering multidisciplinary pro-fessionals and improving ethical and legal regulatory frameworks. This framework provides both theoretical and practical guidance for facilitating the transformation of AI-empowered clinical medical engineering from an"experience-driven"paradigm to a"intel-ligent co-evolution"
