Abstract:
Raman spectroscopy has gained increasing attention in ophthalmological research in recent years due to its advantages of being non-invasive,real-time,and highly sensitive for detecting and identifying molecular compositions.Many scholars have explored the biochemical characteristics of ocular tissues and its clinical applications,particularly in the cornea,tears,aqueous humor,and lens.These studies have revealed the molecular compositions of these tissues to var-ying extents.Raman spectroscopy has shown its potential value in monitoring the progression of diseases such as glauco-ma,cataracts,and exfoliation syndrome,as well as in clinical screening and differential diagnosis.
