Abstract:
In the practice of preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), a certain proportion of embryos with chromosomal mosaicism can be identified. Mosaic embryo transfer has a chance leading to a healthy live birth, however, lower implantation rate and higher miscarriage rate were observed compared with euploid embryo transfer. Currently, the risks of pregnancy and offspring are not yet clear. Therefore, clinical management of mosaic embryo transfer has always been a concern. This article commented on the possible value of mosaic embryo transfer after PGT from the prospects of mechanism, influencing factors, and clinical outcomes of mosaic embryo transfer.
