Abstract:
Repeated implantation failure is currently one of the most difficult problems in reproductive medicine, and impaired endometrial receptivity plays an important role in repeated implantation failure. In recent years, with the development of lipidomics and metabolomics, it has been found that the endometrial receptivity can be affected by the regulation of lipid metabolism, and it is hypothesized that prostaglandins may be the intersection of the underlying mechanism. Enhancing the understanding of endometrial lipid metabolism helps to determine the exact time for embryo transfer and reduce the rate of implantation failure. In this article, we systematically review the effects of phospholipid metabolites, cholesterol and fat metabolism on endometrial receptivity, providing new ideas for predicting and improving endometrial receptivity.
