Abstract:
Autoimmune disease is a chronic inflammatory disease in which the body produces immune response to its own antigen, leading to tissue damage. Autoimmune abnormalities can affect women's fertility and pregnancy outcomes. Pregnancy can also affect the condition of autoimmune diseases. Therefore, it is very important to control disease status before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after childbirth. Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) plays an important role in the pathogenesis and progress of various autoimmune diseases. TNF-α inhibitors have been used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. This article reviews the clinical application of TNF-α inhibitors in pregnancy with autoimmune diseases.
