- Abstract: Objective:To investigate the clinical diagnosis and treatment of primary abdominal pregnancy after in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Methods:This paper reports 3 cases of primary abdominal pregnancy after IVF-ET in Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, and discusses the diagnosis and treatment. Results:All 3 cases of abdominal pregnancy were diagnosed by transvaginal B-ultrasound before operation. Laparoscopic resection of the abdominal cavity pregnancy gas was performed, and the level of postoperative human chorionic hormone (hCG) decreased. Conclusion:Primary abdominal pregnancy after IVF-ET is a rare ectopic pregnancy. Close monitoring of hCG level and B-ultrasound are helpful for early diagnosis. Laparoscopic exploration and abdominal pregnancy resection are effective treatments. Early diagnosis and treatment of abdominal pregnancy can improve the prognosis.
