Analysis of supervision situation and satisfaction of foreign devices in 182 hospital operating rooms

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the supervision status and satisfaction of foreign devices in hospital operating rooms to provide references for enhancing the management of foreign devices.Methods The secondary and tertiary hospitals in Hubei province were investigated by online questionnaire survey.The questionnaire was designed mainly focusing on the management of foreign devices in the operating rooms,involving in basic information of hospitals and survey respondents,supervision situation and satisfaction of foreign devices.SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results Totally 182 hospitals participated in the survey,of which 160 ones(87.91％)established a specialized management department and 133 ones(73.08％)had a dedicated person in the operating room for foreign devices.There were 67.51％of the operating rooms involved in were extremely satisfied or satisfied with the supervision of foreign devices.The independant factors affecting the satisfaction of operating rooms included dedicated person for the management of foreign devices,implementation of the manufacturer's management requirements and pre-use training and examination of relevant personnel in the operating room(P＜0.05).Conclusion Generally the operating rooms are satisfied with the supervision of foreign devices,and personnel managment,training and evaluation contribute to enhancing the satisfaction.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2024,45(12):89-93]
