Abstract:
Objective This study was aimed to explore the characteristic distribution of Post-COVID Conditions in cancer patients and observe the occurrence of Post-COVID Conditions after the intervention of Yinsang granules.Methods This study was a retrospective clinical observation,and a total of 1026 patients in Yang Yufei's outpatient department from January to February 2023 were screened,including 444 malignant tumor patients infected with COVID-19,among which 265 patients received intervention with Yinsang granules.The main observation indicator was the characteristic distribution of Post-COVID Conditions in malignant tumor patients,and the secondary observation indicator was the incidence of Post-COVID Conditions after intervention with Yinsang granules.Results A total of 444 patients with malignant tumors were included in this study,including 198 males(44.6％)and 246 females(55.4％).Average age 59.95±12.45;The five symptoms with the highest frequency of Post-COVID Conditions were fatigue,cough,dyspnea,insomnia and palpitation.The incidence of Post-COVID Conditions was higher in females than in males,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The average age of Post-COVID Conditions is higher than that of non-Post-COVID Conditions(62 vs 58),and the age difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The risk of developing Post-COVID Conditions in breast cancer patients was 2.9 times higher than that in colon cancer patients(P＜0.05).Yinsang granule,female and gastric cancer were the protective factors for the Post-COVID Conditions(P＜0.05).The incidence of Post-COVID Conditions was lower in the group taking Yinsang granule than in the group not taking it,and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yinsang Granule intervention can reduce the incidence of Post-COVID Conditions in tumor patients.
