- Abstract: Objective The development trend,technical hotspot and industrial distribution of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)sterilization disinfection products(SDP)had been analyzed from the perspective of patent,which can provide reference for technological research and development,market development and industrial policy.Methods The TCM SDP was taken as analysis object,the patent retrieval strategy was formulated and optimized.Then,the patent data was collected.After data cleaning and processing,analysis and visualization has been carried.Conclusion Based on the results of patent analysis,it can be seen that the research and development of Chinese herbal sterilization and disinfection products in China has experienced stages of starting,rapid development,and decline as a whole.Currently,it is in a period of transformation from an extensive development model to a high-quality development model.A61K and C11D are the technical fields with the most patent applications.Honeysuckle,aloe,sophora flavescens,and mint are the most commonly used Chinese herbal varieties.Lotion and solution types are the main dosage forms.Developed provinces in the southeast such as Shandong,Jiangsu,and Guangdong are at the leading level,while the central and western regions and ethnic minority areas are relatively backward.Universities and scientific research institutions are the main bodies of research and development activities,and compared with individuals,they have significant advantages in terms of the number and quality of patents.
