Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus(DM)and metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)share common pathogenic factors.Liver lipid accumulation leads to insulin resistance,and the risk of DM gradually increases with the severity of MAFLD.Multi-omics research provides a basis for the prevention,diagnosis,and treatment of DM combined with MAFLD.This article reviews the progress of multi-omics research in DM combined with MAFLD.
