Abstract:
Natural products are a treasure trove for new drug development,and more and more Natural products have shown great therapeutic potential in various diseases.Single-cell multi-omics technology,including single-cell genomics,single-cell transcriptomics,single-cell proteomics,single-cell epigenomics,etc.,is a multifaceted method for comprehensive analysis and research of single cells,providing more complete and accurate single-cell data.This offers deeper insights into the study of nat-ural product targets.This paper summarizes the methods and e-merging technologies used to identify and validate natural prod-uct targets,and reviews the application of emerging technologies like single-cell multi-omics and artificial intelligence in natural product pharmacology research.By combining target identifica-tion with the latest single-cell multi-omics research techniques,we can better elucidate the mechanism of action of natural prod-ucts,accelerate the innovation of traditional Chinese medicine,and promote its industrialization and internationalization.
