Abstract:
Objective Exploring the effectiveness of applying PDCA cycle management in improving the quality of day-time surgical records.Methods 148 days surgery medical records were randomly selected from our hospital from July 2022 to June 2024 as the subjects of this study.According to the implementation time of PDCA cycle management,they were divided into a control group(73 cases from July 2022 to June 2023,using routine medical record management)and an observation group(75 cases from July 2023 to June 2024,using routine medical record management+PDCA cycle management).Compare the stand-ardization and writing defects of two sets of medical records.Results Compared with the control group,the observation group had higher quality and standardization in terms of 24-hour admission and discharge records,admission evaluation records,dis-charge evaluation records,anesthesia outpatient risk assessment records,preoperative discussion records,surgical and postopera-tive first course records,nursing records,etc.(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had a lower incidence of writing defects in daytime surgical medical records(P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of PDCA cycle management in the quality management of day surgery medical records can improve the quality of day medical records,has certain application value,and can be referred to.
