Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the value of high frequency ultrasound elastic imaging parameters combined with serum anti-thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb)and soluble interleukin-2 receptor(sIL-2R)levels in differential diagnosis of thyroid nodule properties.Methods:A total of 83 patients with thyroid nodules admitted to our hospital from Jun 2021 to Jun 2023 were selected.All of them were examined by high-frequency ultrasound elastography.According to fine needle puncture or postoperative pathological results,the patients were included in the benign group(52 cases)and the malignant group(31 cases),respectively.The imaging characteristics,high-frequency ultrasound elastography parameters(elastic strain rate,elasticity score)and serum TgAb and sIL-2R levels of the 2 groups were compared,and the diagnostic value of the combined application for malignant thyroid nodules were analyzed.Results:The proportion of uneven echo,irregular morphology,perforating vessels,unclear boundaries,and gravel-like calcification in the malignant group was higher than that in the benign group(P<0.01).The elastic strain rate,elastic score,and serum TgAb and sIL-2R levels in the malignant group were higher than those in the benign group(P<0.01).The AUC of the combined diagnosis of thyroid malignant nodules with elastic strain rate,elastic score,and serum TgAb and sIL-2R was 0.931,with a sensitivity of 90.32%,a specificity of 82.69%,and a Youden index of 0.730,which were superior to the diagnostic value of each indicator alone(P<0.05).Conclusion:High frequency ultrasound elastic imaging parameters combined with serum TgAb and sIL-2R levels have a certain value in differential diagnosis of thyroid nodule properties,and can be used as one of the effective diagnostic methods for differential diagnosis of thyroid nodule properties.
