Abstract: Severe bacterial infections pose a great threat to human health. With the continuous progress of medical care，bacteria have also developed complex virulence regulatory networks and drug resistance through long-term adaptation to external environments. This not only enhances the pathogenicity of bacteria，but also promotes their growth，reproduction，and transmission in various host environments，presenting challenges to antimicrobial treatments. Systematically studying the functions of pathogenic bacterial virulence factors，deciphering their involvement in virulence regulatory networks，and exploring their spatiotemporal evolution and transmission patterns are of great significance for developing new treatment strategies and preventive measures. Here，this article explores the research strategies for virulence factors of major pathogenic bacteria，aiming to provide insights and references for their prevention and control.
