Abstract:
Oligometastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a distinct type of metastatic NPC with a relatively favorable prognosis. Due to the heterogeneity of oligometastatic NPC, treatment strategies and prognosis vary significantly among patients. In this paper, we review the current state of research on oligometastatic NPC, including its definition, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment, with a particular focus on summarizing local therapies for both primary and metastatic lesions, aiming to provide a guidance for the clinical treatment of oligometastatic NPC.
