- Abstract: This article reviews the physiological and pathophysiological changes of diabetes mellitus,emphasizes the importance of reasonable and effective disease management for improving the clinical outcomes of patients with diabetes,and proposes a new concept of diabetes management,including the restoration of blood glucose homeostasis,correction of multi-dimensional metabolic disorders,and remodeling of cognition.
