Abstract:
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are major health issues worldwide, characterized by high incidence and mortality rates, posing a serious threat to human health. Although modern medicine has made remarkable progress in the treatment of CVD, problems such as adverse drug reactions, surgical risks and recurrence still exist. Traditional Chinese medicine has gradually gained attention in CVD treatment due to its unique theoretical system and therapeutic methods. Among them, Linggui Zhugan Decoction, as a classic prescription, has shown significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases through multiple mechanisms such as regulating water metabolism, anti-inflammation and anti-oxidation, regulating blood lipids, and improving myocardial cells and cardiac cavity structure. This article reviews the traditional Chinese medical classics and efficacy discussions of Linggui Shugan Decoction, modern pharmacological research, current clinical application status, and future prospects, aiming to provide new ideas and methods for the clinical treatment of CVD and promote further research and application of Linggui Shugan Decoction in the field of CVD treatment.
