Abstract:
Low vision is a visual dysfunction that not only seriously affects the quality of life and mental health of pa-tients,but also imposes a huge financial burden on them.Low vision rehabilitation plays an essential role in improving the visual function of patients so that it meets their life needs.Low vision rehabilitation is conducted based on the cause of low vision.It aims to make the most of the remaining vision of patients by visual function assessment,the use of appropriate visual aids and support services.Low vision rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary integrated service system,which still faces many problems and challenges although some progress has been made and needs further research and improvement.
