Abstract:
Objective:To promote further researches by discussing the physiological effects caused by the disorder of biorhythm.Literature resource and selection:Research papers and literature reviews published at home and abroad.Literature quotation:Seventy-three published papers and reviews were cited.Literature synthesis:The biological rhythms that spontaneously and periodically regulate physiological and behavioral levels in organisms has extremely important physiological functions, and it plays a broad and important regulatory role in human metabolism, psychological cognition and emotional behavior. Long-term biological rhythm disorders can lead to serious imbalances in metabolism, immune reduction, sleep disorders, cognitive decline and other serious physical and mental health problems. This paper introduces the composition and regulation mechanism of the biological rhythm system and focuses on the research status of two groups of people who are easy to be influenced by biological rhythm disorder, such as long-term space activities and shift work. From the perspective of physiological effect, the disturbance of biological rhythm can disrupt homeostasis of human body, increase heart rate variability, reduce sleep quality, and reduce behavioral activities. From the cognitive aspect, the disruption of biorhythm can affect the alertness, learning and memory functions of the brain, and further reduce the work efficiency. Conclusions:The physiological mechanism of biorhythm disorder requires further studies and the comprehensive considerations should be taken include cognition, behavior and working performance.
