Abstract:
As a serious public health problem, alcohol use disorder has brought a huge burden of disease to patients, families, and society. At present, a growing number of studies have shown that brain function is impaired in patients with alcohol use disorder. During recent years, with continuous development in neuroimaging technology, resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging technology has been applied in multiple studies for brain functions related to alcohol use disorder, which provides new cues for understanding the pathophysiology of the disorder. This article reviewed publications about resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging applicated in alcohol use disorder in recent years, by such to provide some helps in theoretical bases for future studies along this line.
