Abstract:
As a narrow concept, the service target of psychotherapy is patients with mental disorders, hence, psychotherapy practice in clinical field should be carried out under the framework of psychiatric medicine. It needs to meet the characteristics of diagnosis basis, evidence basis, guideline recommendation, objective evaluation, and strong operability. Meanwhile, the development of psychotherapy is increasingly showing a trend of integration. This article proposes the concept of symptom-based psychotherapy decision-making under the framework of psychiatric medicine, using cognitive behavioral therapy skills as an example, aiming to improve the efficiency, efficacy, and standardization of clinical work, and fulfill the requirements of psychotherapy under the framework of psychiatric medicine. By this way, we expect to inspire professional readers to think and investigate more about psychotherapy decision-making.
