Abstract:
Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a pain disorder featured with diffuse pain throughout the body. It may occur alone or cooccur with other diseases. Depressive disorder is a mental illness that is commonly comorbid with FMS. Due to the lack of specific clinical features and objective indicators, FMS can be easily misdiagnosed and missed in clinical practice. This article retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics of a patient with major depressive disorder comorbid with FMS. Relevant literatures were also reviewed.
