Abstract:
Green development has become a consensus,yet hospitals exhibit high energy intensity during operations.The requirement to"reduce energy expenditure per 10,000 yuan of revenue"necessitates energy conservation in hospital logistics.This study,based on the practical context of a hospital,innovatively introduced third-party verification,employing separate mete-ring and comprehensive electrical testing for energy savings accounting.Through the Energy Performance Contracting(EPC)model,the study addressed financial,technical,and managerial challenges in hospital energy conservation.Technological trans-formations included:Construction of an energy consumption monitoring system Intensive power supply and distribution system up-grades High-efficiency lighting systems Centralized air conditioning control Smart recycled water systems Real-time water quality monitoring BIM-based energy room operations These measures significantly reduced operational costs,achieving dual environmen-tal and economic benefits.As carbon neutrality goals advance,hospitals will increasingly focus on green and low-carbon transi-tions.The EPC model provides an effective pathway for hospitals to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction.
