Abstract:
Wilson′s disease (WD) is a treatable hereditary disorder of copper metabolism. Nevertheless, in clinical practice, a few patients experience relentless disease progression and ultimately develop refractory WD. The key causes of refractory WD and corresponding prevention and treatment strategies, were systematically analyzed in this article, expecting to reduce incidence and improve prognosis of this disease.
