Abstract:
With the deepening of the high-quality development philosophy, hospital management modes should transition towards refinement and systematization, urgently necessitating the establishment of a new organizational capability system tailored to this transformation. In the process of building a benchmark hospital for Chinese-style modernization, the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine has developed the " Shaw Medical Mode" for organizational capability system construction, encompassing three core dimensions: the platform ecosystem strategy, co-creation leadership, and the agile operational mode. Among these, the platform ecosystem strategy represented the development of " hard power", reflecting systematic thinking; Co-creation leadership shaped the " soft power", demonstrating the characteristics of ecosystem co-creation; and the agile operational mode ensured " execution capability", showing a high degree of agility. These three dimensions complement each other, collectively forging a continuously evolving Shaw Medical service ecosystem. This approach has effectively enhanced the hospital′s operational quality and efficiency, promoted discipline development and operational mode innovation, and can serve as a reference for the modernization of hospitals in China.
