Abstract:
The Chinese Journal of Microsurgery was first published in August 1978 under the title of Journal of Microsurgery and was renamed in 1986. Despite the extremely challenging conditions at its inception, editorial staff of the journal overcame difficulties through a deep passion for microsurgery and a strong sense of mission. Since its founding, the journal has served as a vital academic platform for microsurgery professionals, providing a stage for showcasing talent and a window for the dissemination of scientific achievements. It has played a significant role in advancing "Microsurgical techniques" into "Microsurgery" in China. Over the years, the journal has been recognized as a core medical publication, in terms of citation frequency and impact factor. It has received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Journal Award from the China Association for Science and Technology, the Chinese Medical Association, and Guangdong Province. To date, the journal has ascended to new heights in its mission of inheritance and innovation, continuing to advance China's microsurgery and maintain its global leading position in microsurgical technology.
