Abstract:
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is an immune-mediated idiopathic inflammatory bowel disease, and the incidence of IBD is increasing. The detailed mechanism of IBD is not clear. The study of environmental risk factors of IBD not only provides clues to understand the mechanism of these diseases, but also may play a potential role in improving the natural history of IBD by changing some environmental risk factors. The environmental factors affecting the occurrence and development of IBD are discussed in this article.
