Abstract:
Solitary rectal ulcer syndrome (SRUS) is a chronic, benign rectal ulcer disease. Because of its various clinical manifestations, it is easily misdiagnosed as rectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease. A case of solitary rectal ulcer syndrome in Peking University First Hospital was reproted. The diagnosis and treatment of this patient is helpful to improve the understanding of this disease and to emphasize the significance of long-term follow-up and pathological biopsy.
