- Abstract: Cognitive decline is one of the most common adverse symptoms following acute high-altitude exposure(AHAE).MRI can reveal the structural and functional changes in brain caused by AHAE,thereby deeply understanding the specific mechanism of its cognitive decline, which is of great significance for early prevention and intervention.Research progresses on MRI assessment of cognitive function after AHAE and related intervention methods were reviewed in this article.
